around the age of six, xander’s mother felt something dangerous arising deep in her bones. a memory of a life past lived that tainted her existence. out of precaution she asked a friend of hers ( a man named timothy ) to take care of xander, and while he saw her almost daily - things were never the same.

at age eleven she passed protecting him from the darkness but it wasn’t without a price. he was touched, and his mind was tampered with, nearly damaging him permanently.he has no memory of this encounter because of his glance at the void, but timothy took him in and raised him for a good number of years until he became conscious again around nineteen. timothy said it was trauma, that some days were better than others - but everything came with a bounty and the years he was missing had been penance.timothy explained what he could, and after a bit of recalling the little pieces he could remember, his memory started to fill the empty spaces. bit by bit he regained the years he lost - except for that night when his mother had gone. he was continuing the family business of ghost hunting, in one way or another.

he begins this new life with excitement, he and timothy get along so well and they do so much when it comes to hauntings within the city. he finds he has a natural born talent for the dead. however, this peace is over far too soon, and timothy passes on as well when xander is twenty-two in the hold of a demon - the same demon that took his mother.he finds himself falling again, but this time he regains his consciousness. his friends help him continue his life. he opens an oddities shop, he hunts almost daily. and then he sees him. timothy. a simple ghost across the street.IT TAKES HIM A WHILE TO RECOVER.

xander wakes up one morning to the world covered in fire. there is little left. so he packs up, heads out. goes under ground to make his way out of the city. he ends up at his cabin in the mountains. far away from civilian life. except now things are worse, and his supplies are running out. and all of it is hell.  EYES OF DEATH    D&D. 
set in the universe of dungeons & dragons and critical role, xander is a wizard focusing in necromancy, he lives in tal'dorei, specifically in whitestone where he had been following the odd behaviors of the briarwood’s until their demise. taking a few odd jobs here and there to get rid of ghosts or the undead, the hunter travels through each continent looking for trouble with his friends: a half-elf druid named mara, a tiefling bard named uri — and his black panther named ghost.

matthew is dying. that is the first thing he ever truly remembers hearing after daisy. he has a rare form of lupus that baffles doctors, leaving him to spend most of his time alone in seclusion to prevent the spread of disease. it was the perfect end to a life that seemed to never be his own, no matter how hard he tried.

when he was younger, he grew up in a rather rich household to controlling parents who wanted more from him than he could give. while their beginning years together were cookie-cutter perfect, matthew found his aspirations and wills sliding down the drain as his father put pressure on him that he did not desire. hewanted him to continue the family business - and matthew just wanted to paint.it takes a while, but his father eventually gives up and moves on to daisy, his sister. but she, too, had other plans - and while she appeared so constantly bright and happy when his parents forced a life that included taking over the family business on his sister... she cracked under the pressure and drove herself off of a bridge while matthew watched.

they were incredibly close, so he took this hard. even harder when his parents blamed him for her death and not on the pressure they had so deftly shoved onto her shoulders; blaming him for filling her head with poetic nonsence and useless art.when he started to get sick, the strain on their relationship snapped, and he was sent away to live in a small apartment (although definitely upperclass) on his own. out of sight, out of mind. during the first few years of this he made a name for himself doing the only thing he could think of, the only thing he found any passion for - painting. and while his father still contacts him on occasion to paint for his clients (and he has to, otherwise the small funds they still help with will go away, including the medical help), this is all for himself.BESIDES, HE ONLY HAS A FEW MORE YEARS TO LIVE.

this is when she meets tomas, a young man at the time - with an old-fashioned suit and a cigarette in his lips. he hires her to be one of his personal assassins, gives her care and the means to live in comfort instead of the hell she had been used to. she starts to truly provide for the family, but it's when haden disappears one night out of the blue to another gang roaming the city that things become incredibly real. her purpose is seemingly lost, tomas promises to help find him as long as she continues her work.it is a rough life, but she found joy in her killings, pride in taking from the rich and giving to the poor. and as she grew she got better and better, until she was one of the top tiers when it came to stealing and ridding unwanted scum. still, she holds on to her home, brutal to most but soft to those she cares for. pushed by the knowledge that her brother is out there.SHE JUST NEEDS TO KNOW WHERE TO LOOK.

born in raised in a small town right outside of london, lillian and her family moved to america at the prime age of sixteen. being homeschooled for the last bit of her education, she found her passion in the arts, with pointe shoes and a pas de deux. yet everything comes to a screeching halt when a semi truck hits their vehicle full on one dark night on the road. lillian is pronounced dead on the scene.

growing up in foster care timothy learned very quickly what it meant to survive. he struggled to put food into his mouth, and while he was still able to wander his way onto school grounds, he spent the rest of his time working at a small gas station down the street. the home he ended up in was riddled with pain, and ghosts wandered the halls.

zahirith started stealking food to feed themselves, and they lived in an abandoned building for a long time. huddling next to each other in the winter to survive, and pick-pocketing to make ends meet. zahirith found a group of teenagers her age, and they formed the FACTION. haden quickly became the leader, as zee's darker side started to spur heavier gang activity.he wasn't the smartest, constantly getting caught and spending nights in jail away from his sister. on a particularly long stay in juvie, he heard whispers of a man named tomas, who had started to spread his reign over the city into their territory. by the time he was released, the coffin had already been placed at his feet.it was either be hired, or death. perhaps it was lucky that tomas had taken such a soft spot for zahirith, and he put food on the table.

but haden grew wary. he grew restless. the odd jobs that he was given, stealing the odd painting, piece of jewelery, and even better, sniping men from halfway across the city... started to bore him. he hated being under someone else, and started to question tomas' authority.in attempts to control him, tomas calls on malina, a vampire he had in retainer. she bites him one night after seducing him, and his life as a vampire began. however, tensions still grew, and on one heated night after killing his sire, tomas gave him an ultimatum. as a courtesy, die, or be paid to leave the city and leave his sister behind. he really had no other choice.HE BECAME A "GHOST".

He was born christian livingston haversberg-jules, to a rather full household in a poor part of london. His parents worked long hours to push for a better life, but nothing seemed to work and his father turned to drugs and acohol rather quickly in his youth. christian made his own path, finding a guitar at a neighbors and stealing it one late night by breaking into their home. he taught himself how to play, and while his grades slipped, he skimmed the top of his father's stash for his own use and profit... he grew up scraping by.

it's one night, when he's riding back to his house on a bike he'd found during a storm, that he gets struck by lighting. he dies on the spot, and wakes a few moments later after the shock re-starts his heart. except things are different, he feels numb, like the entirety of his being has been dulled by the blast. he wears a scar to prove it. the next morning he realizes something is very wrong. he touches his mother on the way out the door, pressing a kiss to her forehead as normal, a hand on her arm - and everything slips away. he sees her, older than she is now, passing away in her sleep.things change after that. he wears gloves 24/7 to prevent any bleed through, unable to see people's deaths and tragedies with them covered. he changes his name to fever nix. he decides to start focusing more on music. he hooks up with a woman named calysto, and has a kid they name eurydice.

fever finds his bandmates in his early twenties. orion was first, the brawny boy down the street. luca was next, after he stole him from another band that broke up three months later. kassius was last. she pulls him under her spell with her voice, her gaze looks at him like she can see right through him. he feels as though he's known her for years.BLITZ is formed half a year later. their first show in a garage-like warehouse in the middle of nowhere. but people show up, hearing the rumbling of fever's lyrics, kassius' voice. it feels like a ritual. they leave that night signed to a record label, and the rest is history.they currently have two albums, and a third in the works. each one has brought on sold-out tours around the world. despite their success, fever is still unhappy. his heart is dull in his chest, except around his daughter whom he rarely sees. his unique appearance brings on attention he doesn't want. he writes and writes, and it doesn't ever feel like enough.AND HE STILL SEES UNPROMISED FUTURES.

kassius had two very loving parents, that split at the seams at a very young age. they traveled the seas, having a boat as their home. they'd dock and enroll her in the nearest school, and a few months later would uproot her entire existence and move on. for a long time, kassius had no friends. she spent her days on the beach, and her nights huddled under the stars.

that all changed when a big storm came and washed them all away. she was the only one who survived, pulling herself from the ocean - except it wasn't her, was it? there was someone else there, something else lurking in the shadows. she went into the water herself, and came out a siren of the seas. a danger to men, and women alike. she CONSUMED.she was found on the beach at the age of eight. she entered a foster home at the age of ten. kassius went to public school for the first time, with the knowledge that she wasn't going to be moving on after only a bit of time. she allowed herself friends, she found followers, people who looked up to her. before the woman knew it, she was the popular girl in town.and she loved it. she thrived in it. she starred in every theatre production, and at the age of twenty-three joined a few people that she met in her days at uni for a small, rather unpopular (besides her) band that went through the uk.
